Normal Traffic for new blog?
-
Just wondering what you all found the norm was when you started blogging. I’ve been on here for about a month and a half and get between 15 and 30 hits a day. How long do you think it will be until the search engines really start linking to me? Anyone got any advice as regards traffic?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I do not believe there is such a thing as a “norm”. Blogs are on many subjects and spread over a range of niches. Some bloggers are excellent writers with unique information to share and others aren’t. Post on some topics that may be considered by many to be inane or even idiotic go viral.
Have you verified blog ownership with the major search engines?
If not then please see here. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
There are other factors that may expedite the indexing process. See here > http://www.onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/21/omg-i-cant-find-my-blog-on-google/What’s important to understand is that blogging is competitive and it’s important to promote each and every post you publish not only here but also in social media and in social networks.

The support documentation contains entries on “traffic”. See here please for a page with links to several entries > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topic/traffic/
