How can I create a standard website with WordPress.com?

  I think I jumped the gun a bit in using wordpress.com. I purchased a URL (roadwitness.org) and want to develop it as a website. The pre-designed themes aren’t what I had in mind, is there a way to transfer that roadwitness.org url to a different host so that I can create a custom site or can I use wordpress.org to design a custom site?

  If you would like to transfer your domain – roadwitness.org – to a different server, you will have to wait 60 days before doing so. Instructions on how to do this are available here:
