That site was deleted years ago, and currently deleted sites cannot be re-used: https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/#permanently-deleting-your-site

Does not make sense.
After some time, WordPress should give in again the availability of domains for use.
Thanks for your help and availability.

Hi there!
It’s our policy not to allow reusing WordPress.com addresses. We aren’t able to make an exception in this case. Please use a different WordPress.com address that’s available and hasn’t been used before.

Hi there, hope you don’t mind me adding to this discussion.
Perhaps one of these other free WordPress.com subdomains would be suitable?
The screenshots in that post are somewhat out of date, but the process is the same.
And, of course, if you register a custom domain as a part of any upgrade plan, you can use any available free subdomain, either .wordpress.com or .blog

Hope that helps.

Hi All,
I’m not against internal policies. I’m just sharing my opinion.
I don’t want another subdomain but an existing domain that is not available. As it happens in any company with dedicated services, such as dedicated servers, hosting… After some time it is eliminated and becomes available again for use.
I want to thank you all for your answers, availability and help.
Best Regards,
Pedro North Martins
