Not a valid domain

I have tried adding a new site with an existing domain, that I own, but it keeps saying: Are you sure you mean bär-on-tour.at? This is not a valid domain.
And I cannot proceed.The domain is http://www.bär-on-tour.at

The issue you’re experiencing is due to the presence of the language-specific character “ä” in your domain. This makes your domain an internationalized domain, which, unfortunately, cannot be connected to a WordPress.com site.
To resolve this issue, I recommend registering a different domain that doesn’t contain language-specific characters.
