Hi. I had created a wordpress website using a different email id. But somehow, I lost that email id. Is there a way that I can link that website to my present wordpress account? Thanks

I tried with the account recovery option, but I have none of the following-
– transaction id (as it was made using a free account)
– activation key (as the email id that i used , i dont have access to it anymore).I only have my present email id and contact number, as a proof of that.
– no 2FA key as such.Since I had created the above website using the email (email visible only to moderators and staff). Somehow, over the period of time I lost access to this email id. Now, I want to associate this website to my current email id i.e- (email visible only to moderators and staff) . I was the owner of this website and all the content published on it was provide by me, only. My contact number that I used for logging in was- +91-XXXXXXXXXX (i can provide my email id/contact no, if asked in person) . Please help in this regard. Thanks

If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.

I’m afraid that’s not possible. You’d need to regain access to the account first to change the email address on the account or transfer the site to your new account.

But this must be done from the account that owns the site, so you’ll need to recover access first.
