Not able to activate custom theme uploaded on your website.

  I have domain connected http://www.satyagrah.com looking for custom theme upload which I don’t find any where I did upload custom theme using refrence to to the material uploaded on the website http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes#Selecting_the_Active_Theme. But I couldn’t see any of my themes in wordpress 268 theme options nor search bar coming in Appearance and Theme view.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I have taken up hosting on http://www.bluehost.com uploaded custom theme from Blue host file manager

  Hi there,

  Currently, your domain satyagrah.com is pointed to your WordPress.com-hosted blog satyagrahdotcom.wordpress.com. Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

  You mentioned that you have setup hosting for your self-hosted blog at Bluehost.com. If so, you’ll need to point your domain to Bluehost first by changing the name servers on your domain at your Registrar (ZOOMREGISTRAR). Then, you’ll be able to install WordPress.org software and setup your self-hosted blog including adding your own themes. Does that make sense?

  If that’s the route you want to go (self-hosted with Bluehost), you will not need the recent Domain Mapping upgrade you have purchased at WordPress.com. In that case, please let me know so I can refund that purchase for you!
