Not able to add my subdomain in wordpress account

    When i am trying to add my subomain, i am getting following error….
    sorry subdomain has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped….

    My domain is registered into Godaddy account that i have created subdomain in Cname records and pointed to my wordpress account. Could you please help me anyone for my post….

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Meanwhile, I’d suggest you to read the instructions on the support documentation (if you haven’t already) –

    Hi there,

    Can you please tell us the subdomain you’re trying to map? It’s impossible to check it if we don’t know what it is.

    Kokkieh,

    Subdomain is “blog.avasoft.biz”, when i am trying to add my subdomain in wordpress account, it throwing an error like “sorry blog.avasoft.biz” has not been registered yet. I have created Cname record in my registered domain account.

    I had a look and it appears the CNAME for that subdomain is pointing to lb.wordpress.com. However, the site in your account is ajithkumarl.wordpress.com. Can you please try updating that CNAME to point to the correct WordPress.com address and see if that makes any difference? It won’t work with the current CNAME in any case, even if you are able to map it.

    It also appears your root domain, avasoft.biz, has both WordPress.com and GoDaddy name servers, which means none of your DNS records will work correctly. Did you buy your domain from GoDaddy? If so, please log into your account with them and remove the WordPress.com name servers. Then the rest of your DNS records should start working.
