Not able to cancel domain (and get rid of annoying messages)
-
I had a paid domain until May, but did not renew it. Now my blog keeps showing a very invasive “warning” message to all visitors. I clicked on the “cancel domain” button, but that only sent me into a loop of support messages, contact buttons (that keeps sending me back to support pages). Unfortunately I can’t afford to pay the $ 18 for the domain and just want to keep my old free wordpress.com URL… which, apparently, is impossible.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! I can see your blog at your old wordpress.com URL http://paiogro.wordpress.com/ but, you’re right, it does have the warning message first, which I can close.
I tagged this for a Staff member to assist you with the removal of the domain mapping. Please make sure you’r subscribed to this thread so you can see when they reply. :)

Hello!
I’ve gone ahead and removed that domain mapping for you. Your site should load at http://paiogro.wordpress.com/ without that warning message now.
