Not able to change site extension
-
I have created a new blog page for our School. At present it is showing https://apsuttarkashi.school.blog/ and I am not able to change its extension to wordpress.com. What should I do?

Hi @sauravpeace, what’s happening when you try to change the name?
Please note too, if you change it you won’t get the school.blog address back.

It is not changing. The “Change Site Address” is not active too. Is this “apsuttarkashi.school.blog” a paid domain?

When you change the .school.blog drop down to .wordpress.com, you’ll need to type “apsuttarkashi” into the box again to activate the “Change site address” button. This allows the system to check that the new site address is available.
apsuttarkashi.school.blog isn’t a paid custom domain, it’s one of the newer .blog subdomains that WordPress.com offers. https://wordpress.com/blog/2018/11/28/announcing-free-dotblog-subdomains/
