Not able to contact our WordPress site owner

  Hi there
  WI am the current administrator of our website and have admin rights but we have lost touch with the original owner. Is there any way we can get the ownership transferred?

  Are you using wordpress.com, or the self hosted wordpress.org? WordPress.com and wordpress are 2 totally different sites.

  Wordpress.com is an easy to use, free bloging service with hosting. WordPress.org is a software that you can use to connect to any other hosting provider, which means that if you are using wordpress.com, you do not have a hosting provider, and wordpress.com is your hosting provider.

  Hi there – thanks for the answer. We are using wordpress.com; they are hosting the site and we have a paid plan with them.
