Not able to create free "blogname.wordpress.com"

  I have created the account.
  But whenever i am trying for the blog of the name. It asks me to get a one year free domain and renewal after a year.
  There is no issues with domain name. Its unique and accepted.
  I have previously created blog with extension “.wordpress.com”.
  Now, such option is not visible.

  Hi there,

  You can still use a free subdomain. On the list of suggestions look for the free option or type in the full address with .wordpress.com included.
