Not able to create rating widget for my blog posts

  I am not able to create rating widget for my blog posts. It gives error” Sorry! There was an error updating your rating widget”.

  I am not able to edit the setting. Please suggest me, what should I do.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I see the rating info on the bottom of each of your posts, and was able to cast a vote, so perhaps the problem worked itself out. . .

  If that doesn’t help, it would be useful to know exactly what you were doing when the error message came up, and what changes you were trying to make.

  Thanks lizthefair….for your quick reply. You can see the rating widget and even rate it, but I can’t see the rating widget, I only see the text ” Rate this” on my blog posts. The error which I get is shown below:

  Sorry! There was an error creating your rating widget. Please contact Polldaddy support to fix this.

  I sent a query to polldaddy but till now no response from them.

  Could you confirm that you set up your rating system using this process? http://en.support.wordpress.com/ratings/?

  I did a little research and that error message is usually linked with having a miss match between your Poll Daddy account and your WordPress account. It seems to be a problem much more common on self-hosted WordPress.ORG installs though—not sites hosted on WordPress.COM. If you set up your ratings as directed in the first link, you might also try going to the Settings>Polls page on your dashboard just to make sure you have the right poll daddy account linked to your blog, but other than that, I’m out of ideas.

  I’ll also tag this thread for Staff Assistance, as one of the Happiness Engineers or another volunteer might have other ideas for you to try.

  Yes I followed the process as given in the link above. I went to polls page and linked my polldaddy account. But still I have the same problem.

  In this I have one query, while linking polldaddy account, we have to give registered email id and password of WordPress login. Am I correct? Anyone, please clarify…

  Hi there!

  I am able to see the ratings widget right after your posts and was able to rate a few of them without any trouble:

  

  Are you able to see the thumbs up/down images as shown in the screenshot? On a side note, when I hover my mouse over the thumbs up image, it gives me a “Rate Down” message while the thumbs down image gives me the “Rate Up” one. Did you by any chance jumble these up by accident? Thank you!
