not able to create sub pages to the already existing parent page

  Hi,
  I had created two pages few months back.. Now i want to add a sub page to the already existing parent page but am not able to.. When i press publish the page is not visible in the menu or the main page..

  Go to Appearance>Menus and make sure the blank option is selected in the Theme Locations pulldown.
