Not able to edit directly from blog

I used to be able to edit directly from the blog whenever I found an error. Now I can’t. It’s a terrible hassle to scroll through my published posts to locate the one which is sitting right in front of my eyes with the error I want to correct. Is this another new “upgrade” ..

No. This has been the case for me since March of this year. I go to Posts > All Pots and type in the post title. Then I click the Edit icon and edit the post.

Yes … that works. But what a nuisance. Where’s the simple click on the published page to edit? This whole site is becoming more cumbersome and difficult to use. I am so exasperated. The simplest rule for all sites is … the LESS clicks the better. And if there’s going to be an “upgrade” … it should jolly well be a good one … not just a change so that the web developers can pretend that they’re busy.
Three years ago Word Press was a delight to use. No longer.
