Not able to edit home page

    Hello, I am trying to set up the homepage for my website .
    When I go to Dashboard–>Pages and preview the draft, I can see it the way I created it. However when I click on edit, it shows the original page template I used, and not the page I created using that template. I don’t know if this is a glitch in the software.
    I even tried logging out and back in.
    Please let me know what to do.

    Hello there,

    To check – if you go to Appearance > Site Editor. Are you seeing the site and are able to edit the content?

    If you’re able to tell me what clicks you’re making, we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.
