Not able to export

  Hi,

  I’ve setup a new wordpress.org blog and ‘am planning to move all my wordpress.com content to the new site. But, I’m not able to. The export function is not working. I click and wait, but, I get a “Goshdarrnit” message no matter how many times I try. Help me resolve this issue.

  Is http://saikrishnakorivi.wordpress.com/ the blog you’re trying to export? I had no trouble exporting it myself.

  Were you referring to a different blog?

  Hi macmanx,

  That was precisely what i wanted to export. But, since I couldnt, i exported, posts, pages & feedback separately. I hope I got everything. By doing so and not exporting the whole blog at once, will i miss anything or are both the same? And, now if i can export the whole blog, can i import it on what ive already imported?

  Yep, you’re safe to import those separately, you won’t lose anything.

  The importer won’t duplicate content, so won’t gain or lose anything by importing the all-in-one file.
