not able to import blogger blog

  I’m not able to import my blogger blog to wordpress. When I click on import and authorise it I get this error

  “Could not connect to https://www.google.com

  There was a problem opening a secure connection to Google. This is what went wrong:

  Connection timed out (110)”

  So please help me regarding this.

  I also note this when I click the importer for Blogger button.

  This importer allows you to import posts and comments from your Blogger account into your WordPress blog.

  To use this importer, you must have a Google account and an upgraded (New, was Beta) blog hosted on blogspot.com or a custom domain (not FTP).
  Maximum size: 15MB

  I cannot find any additional Help information at wordpress.com with regard to the error message you received.

  I have followed the steps but also I’m not able to import, I’m getting same error please help
