not able to log in or visualize my website

    Hi everyone,
    I’m building my first website using hostgator and wordpress.
    I’ve published the website and a day after I couldn’t log in to wordpress anymore (it recognize my username but when I try to restore my psw I don’t receive any sms or email). I can log in to hostgator but not wordpress. and as soon as you google my website an internal error appears.

    Since I’m following a wordpress webcourse I’ve removed all the protections suggested by wordpress in order to follow the instructions to protect the website myself (I know, sounds like a very bad idea) so I’m now worried someone did something to it and I can’t access anymore.

    even if I type mydomain/wp-admin an internal server error appear.

    Does anyone know how to help me?

    If you are using hostgator as your website host you will need to consult the support forums over at WordPress.org or check with hostgator on your issue.
