  Hey there,
  I need help logging back into my WordPress website.

  This is the error I’m getting upon trying to reset the password: Error: The email could not be sent. Your site may not be correctly configured to send emails.

  Can somebody help with this issue?

  I can see your site is not hosted on WordPress.com and uses open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and this forum is focused on sites hosted on WordPress.com.

  The WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are completely different: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org

  WordPress.com has no control over sites hosted elsewhere, so your hosting provider may be able to help you with regaining access.
