Not able to login with social network (google login)

  I’m able to login to my wordpress.com account with user id and pw. And then I’m able to disconnect my google social login. And then I reconnect with the same google account successfully.

  And then I logout, and try to login back into wordpress.com thru social login button. But it neither gives any error, not lets me login. Just keeps showing the login screen, even after authorizing the google id/pw prompt getting closed successfully.

  Hi @zopfan, can you share the email address you’re trying to log in with? If you’ll type it here it will be hidden from public view so only staff can see it. And we can use that to look for more information.

  The wordpress.com id is: zopfan
  And the google account I’ve been trying to connect it to is: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  But today I noticed a change into this scene.
  I’m able to login into my wordpress.com account with google/social account login once in a while. But not always.
  E.g. I’ve logged in this way in FF latest version. But when I logged out and tried the same in FF incognito mode, the problem resurfaced.

  Are you using any kind of tracking-protections add-ons in Firefox? And if you open Firefox Preferences, under Privacy and Security, what blocking options do you have set there?

  Those kinds of tracking protection features can sometimes even block legitimate tracking, like the tracking we do to determine if you’re logged in when you visit a different site than you own, or the tracking Google does to for the “Log in with Google” feature to work.
