not able to save categories

Yes, I know this is being discussed elsewhere, but I thought I’ll keep the count going, so everyone knows how serious it is. Jeez, WP — what sort of service are you running, if basic functionality goes on the blink like this? And there’s no way of knowing what’s going on unless you dig deep into the forums. You should have a big emergency apology on your bloody front page, guys.
customer support. customer is the absolute ruler. etc. etc.

There are widespread problems with categories, images and headers today. Staff is aware and working on a fix. Please be patient while they are fixed. :)
It would also be appreciated if those posting didn’t emotionally dump on volunteers. We have no prior warning of upgrades, etc. I’ve been responding to these threads for hours.
It may also be a good idea to post a link to your blog in case staff need it.

The problems are aware of by staff and being fixed now. Not all quick problems that arise will have a sticky unless it is for extended periods of time.

Except for those who have purchased upgrades, or have VIP status, WordPress . com doesn’t have ‘customers’. WordPress . com is free! (I think we get darn good service for our [lack of] money). Glitches happen. Sites go down sometimes. We’ll get through it.

1. Categories aren’t being updated. I have been struggling with it.
2. The posts don’t show the categories they belong to.
3. The update takes a lot of time.

The sidebar lists under the Categories as “No categories”, even though all posts are tagged. Most posts are displaying the incorrect category even though they are correct in the post management page.Thanks.
