Not able to see slide show or gallery option.

  HI,
  My blog padmanabhdeshmukh.wordpress.com, i wan to show images in slide show but when i go into media liabrary i am not able to see “slide show” or “gallery” option there. Previously it was visible, please help me to understand if any changes are done with this theme (modularity lite) and how to show images in slide show or gallery ?

  Same problem. The ability to add to a slide show of a previous post has apparently disappeared.

  There are a number of threads already open on the problem with the slideshow following the update to the Insert Media window. The discussion is going on at this thread, which already has a Staff reply.

  We do intend to bring back the “Insert slideshow” button and its associated features in a future release.

  I know this is an inconvenience for some, and we sincerely apologize.

  If you require finer control over the slideshow order beyond what’s currently possible using one of the techniques I described here, you might want to look at using a gallery as an alternative in the meantime.

  Same problem. I can not get the way on find “Slideshow “, the new W/I make it be more complicated on using it. Why can not make the funcion be easier ???

  as kathrynwp said above, the staff are working, on putting back, the shortcode button-in the meantime, you can use the shortcode {shorcode}and it will work-As for the gallery, go to the new post add meda upload the pictures you want and on the right botton column, there is the gallery button

  You can still add a slideshow by using the shortcode. The process is described here:
