NOT Able to verify email address

I am in the middle of transferring my domain to another hosting server. And I received an email from WordPress.com to verify my email address. The email says: It says: We noticed that you still need to verify your email address. ICANN requires that we temporarily put your website on hold if you fail to verify your address.* Please take care of it right away to avoid disruption of services.
When I click on the verify email address button in the email sent by (email visible only to moderators and staff), It goes to 404 error and I am unable to verify.
I would really like to take care of this asap but this is not possible to verify with this stupid link that is not working. I tried responding to the email address but it bounces back. What do I do to verify? Is there a phone number that I can call wordpress.com? UGH…
