Not accepting admin username

  I transferred my domain from wordpress.com to iPage. The transfer has been finalized. I installed WordPress on iPage and was given a login for the new site (using admin). The dashboard still logs me into my WordPress.com blog and will not accept “admin” as a user name. What can I do to properly access my site? It keeps redirecting me to kickmemovie.wordpress.com/wp-admin instead of just kickmemovie.com/wp-admin.

  The link for the new site provided by iPage is kickmemovie.com/wp-admin

  The message I get is “Admin not a valid username on WordPress.com, please try again with the correct username.”

  iPage support says that the problem is not on their end.
