not all files showing in media library

    I have a custom link in a menu. it points to a file in my media library, but if I go to media library to edit it that file does not show up?

    Hello,

    I can see you have linked PDF files to the menu. You should see the file icon in the Media library, but unfortunately, you can’t edit PDF file from the WordPress Dashboard.

    Though you can change the Caption, Title and Description.

    Hi Thanks for the reply… My problem is that the file associated with the menu item does not show in the media library even though the menu link works…

    example –

    Menu custom link points to file called http…file path…spares-1.pdf

    in the media library there is no file called spares-1.pdf

    I know how to change it just seems weird that the link still works but file is there…
