not all followers receiving email notifications

Just recently, some of my followers are not receiving email notification of a new blog who had been receiving. Also, I was not receiving notification of a couple of wordpress.com blogs I follow (since May 29, 2014)

I’m happy to help you figure this out. Can you let me know the email addresses or usernames of one or a handful of the users that are not receiving notifications? Just a note, the email addresses will appear as (redacted) in the public forum, but they will be available to staff members.
As for your own subscriptions, can you let me know what blogs you’re no longer receiving notifications from?

first the blogs I haven’t received notifications were miss writerly cranky pants and Farmgirl inspirations.

Hi Maureen,
It looks like both of the blogs you mention (Farmgirl Inspirations and Miss Writerly Cranky Pants) are both hosted on Blogspot. You will not receive email notifications for new posts on blogs not hosted at WordPress.com or connected to WordPress.com using Jetpack. However, the new posts from those blogs will appear in your Reader when you first log into WordPress.com. Does that make sense?
Regarding the users that you mentioned:
Regarding the user “Barabbas” – It looks like your latest post (THERESA’S SONG) was delivered to their inbox on 6/12/14. Can you have them check their spam folder? Also, WordPress.com emails tend to get caught in the “Social” tab in Gmail so they may want to check there as well!
Regarding the user “Theresa” – It doesn’t look like this email address is signed up to follow your blog. Can you ask them to try to follow your blog again following the instructions here?

Regarding “Linda” – This user is set to receive weekly summary emails instead of immediately when posts are published. They should receive an email about your latest post on Monday. If they would like to change that, they can navigate to their Following settings here:

Just have them click the “Edit” link next to your blog and change the email frequency to “Instantly”.
