Not all Tumblr posts imported

Add topic to favorites
Hello, I’m trying transfer posts from my Tumblr to WordPress but I’ve run into a problem. Most of my posts imported, but for some reason the ones from 2017-2018 have not. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you!

Please try re-running the importer.

It won’t duplicate content, but it should find what it missed.

I tried re-running it, but I’m still missing posts from 2017-2018. Maybe because I posted less those years? Thank you for the advice though.

Hi there,

Can you do us a favor and generate a new export file for your Tumblr site? Once you have that file (should be a .zip formated archive) please upload it here so we can take a closer look at it, and try to run the import from our side to see if we can get those posts?

Hello, I tried doing as you asked but got this message: Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons. I’m not sure if I did something wrong, but thank you anyway.

The Tumblr export file cannot be uploaded to WordPress.com, no. I think my colleague didn’t realise this :)

I don’t see any currently-active or failed imports for your site at https://musicstallblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/admin.php?import=tumblr, but I’ve reset the Tumblr importer just in case. Please try starting your import again.
