Not allowing editors to edit

  I have a handful of editors on my site that manage different aspects of our site. I would like them to remain as editors, but recently I have had to bump a few up to an administrator role because they suddenly weren’t allowed to edit. The problem resolves when I increase their permissions, but I would really rather not have that many people with admin access.
