not auto-saving

  my post is not auto-saving, the auto-save bar doesn’t show up. anyone know why? i accidentally hit back the other night, and it erased my entire post that i had written. help?

  i think that the same thing has just happened to me. i typed out the post, hit the publish button and…. it’s vanished!?
  i typed it in the ‘new’ format post screen.

  1) don’t use the New Post button on the Admin bar. It doesn’t use the Autosave at all and is bug-ridden.

  2) if you’re not using it, what browser and version are you using?

  not to sound completely dumb, but then where do we post from, if not there? (haha, i am using it, obviously.)

  As for browsers, I’m using safari at the moment. Version 6.0.1
  Chrome is really a RAM-hog for me, though I still use it, though less since safari has been updated.
