Not being able to publish to Facebook Pages

I published a post. After publishing it, I added my Facebook account, which I add previously disconnected from WP. I tried to publish this already published post, to this again connected page, but it didn’t work. I tried setting the post to draft and publishing it again. It didn’t work. I tried just updating the post. It didn’t work either. What can I do?

Thanks — I’m getting failures on this end for that site. I’m going to go ahead and remove the Facebook connection. Can you try adding it again, and ensure Publicize has the permissions it asks for?

I’m curious how you did that. Did you set the post to a draft again, and then once it was a draft you clicked the Publish button to publish it again? If so this does not share your post with social media. The ability to “re-publicize” posts is a feature for sites on our WordPress.com Premium plan and Business plan plans as mentioned here: https://wordpress.com/support/publicize/#share-your-content-again
What if you post a new blog post to your blog instead of trying to republish an existing one? Is that shared to Facebook successfully?
