Not Being Freshly Pressed
-
I recently bought a domain and starting posting my content from there. Previously using the Free WordPress site, every article I make goes to the Freshly Pressed site and I am able to gain followers thanks to that. Now, whenever I create a new article from my own site, it doesn’t go to Freshly Pressed anymore. Why is that?
I purchased a site because my intent was to have users see my personal website – however, with this issue, I don’t get new followers. Please help.
What do I do?
Another thing: I published one post – Turning In from my WordPress Personal Domain and it showed up on Freshly Pressed. Why aren’t others doing the same?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Since Freshly Pressed is by invite only so I think you have a typo of some sort
But since you moved off WordPress.COM with your blog – nothing you now do will show up here – WordPress.ORG installs (your new site) does not go to here in any way

Hi Auxclass,
I think I may have worded it differently? I’m still not as familiar with the WP terms as I should be.
I’m not referring to the 8 highlighted contents. I’m referring to list of recently published articles that show on WP when you select a topic or just go to your Reader.
I hope I make it clear.

I don’t really understand what you meant in the second paragraph. I am still using wordpress -it’s just the domain that’s chained and Jetpack transferred my followers over etc.Plus, one post of mine appeared on the Reader page. So why aren’t the others? I guess that’s why question

haha, most people have been on WordPress.com for years and have never been Freshly Pressed!

Somehow I feel like I made a really really big typo. Hahaha but it’s what I see on my page.
Is there anyway to restate my question? I meant the Reader area, really. Not the actual Freshly Pressed list.

@alyxjo – there are two different flavors of “WordPress” – A WordPress.ORG install which is what you have now and WordPress.COM (here) which is what your blog used to be

The tags and such that used to pass your Posts around here at WordPress.COM will not pass around the same info from a WordPress.ORG install

Ah I see. Well I think I should move on to the correct forum then.
Thanks so much auxclass!! You were awesome
