Not being listed on WordPress Reader

  Hello, despite posting every day since 7 January 2020, my posts aren’t coming up in tag searches, or under the project name ‘The Everyday Lore Project’ which is in the SEO title. The privacy settings are correct. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

  We should certainly take a closer look at this. Can you send links to a couple of the posts so we can try searching for them in our own Readers? Thanks.

  Thanks for getting back to me, here are a couple of posts that don’t come up in searches when I click on the tags:

  https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/47614519/posts/2747304104 – tag examples: Saint’s Day and Weatherlore

  https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/47614519/posts/2779950383 – tag examples: Calendar Custom (nothing comes up for Calendar Custom and I have posted more than 100 posts with the tag Calendar Custom), and Midsummer

  https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/47614519/posts/2719994424 – tag examples: Material Culture and Plantlore

  I’ve posted multiple times using these and many other tags and I can’t find myself in any listings. And nothing comes up for The Everyday Lore Project. The only time I can find my posts is by searching my name, even searching the title of the posts returns nothing.

  Any help gratefully received!

  Ah, your site is a self-hosted WordPress.org site running the Jetpack plugin.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  In the WordPress.com Reader, there’s priority given on the tag and category listings for WordPress.com sites.

  Ah right, I think I understand – because I’m WordPress.org, nothing I write will be listed in the searches despite me having a presence on there? Is there a WordPress.org Reader I can get listed in?! Seems a shame that my project doesn’t have a home in the Reader.
