Not displaying my Home page Remove area above the header image

    I have 2 questions :

    1) When I type my site address = jotabarbosa.wordpress.com a window is displayed which says:
    Nothing Found
    Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.

    I must click a menu to display my pages correctly.

    How can I fix this issue ?

    2) I want the header image to be displayed precisely at the top of the page.
    I don´t want nothing above the header image.
    How can I do it ?

    Hello there,
    The4 first issue is a simple one. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of your blog is a result of deleting the placeholder Hello World post. As soon as you publish a post it will disappear.

    I want the header image to be displayed precisely at the top of the page.
    I don´t want nothing above the header image.
    How can I do it ?

    Go to Appearance > Header
    locate and disable this
    Header Text
    __ Show header text with your image.
    Click “save changes”

    You solved at a glance both of my problems !! Thank you.

    But now I want to remove the search box, to leave room for my Menu bar.

    How can I do it ?

    Hi
    To remove the search ba.
    On the admin section got to:
    Appearance —> Widgets –>
    On the right of the screen, the widgets “exposed” appears, just remove it.

    Hi

    As you told me, I went to Appearance >Widgets, but did not find “exposed widgets.
    So, I was unable to delete it.

    What I want is to remove the search box from my horizontal menu.

    Did what I said.
    No way.
    It doesn’t work at all.

    The webmaster, says that he asks the question to WordPress, they answer: We will take cae of this.

    But since that, no answer.

    The french webmaster says Somtimes you can, sometimes you can’t.
    It is free, it is fast.
    Sometimes make the best of a bad deal (Faire contre mauvaise fortune bon coeur).
