  By default, every site is indexed by Google over the course of time. But, this process might take 4-6 weeks or more and depends upon factors like the number of visitors, quality of content, geo-location, etc. More details: https://wordpress.com/support/seo/#appearing-in-search-engines

  While not necessary to be included in Google’s index, connecting your site to Google’s Search Console can help Google include your site more quickly: https://wordpress.com/support/webmaster-tools/#google-search-console

  One thing that really helps with getting into Google search results is lots of content covering the subjects for which you want to be found in Google. In general, I recommend that you focus on the content that you create, and SEO will happen organically.
