"Not Found" message on my front page
-
Hi, Recently I set up my site and am not sure what I did to cause it, but now a message appears:
“Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post”.
Can any one help me? How do I remove this message?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Go to Administration > Settings > Reading panel.
Set Front page displays to a static page, and see if that helps.

Every theme has a detailed theme description page. This one is at https://wordpress.com/theme/twentyten pique that’s where set up instructions for it and the live demo site link is found.
You may also want to check out Special Styles For Formatted Posts in the detailed themes description page at https://wordpress.com/themes/twentyten/
All support docs are at https://en.support.wordpress.com/ where we have a search box as the most prominent feature on the page.
This is a one or the other situation. You have two choices on any blog
(1) All posts on the front page.
(2) Or a static front page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ and all posts on a different page.Otherwise, you can create a Page for the Home page https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#create-a-new-page first and create one for your Posts then designate a static front page.
Provided you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the site go to
Go to http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php to make the designation.
