Hi team, I am trying to migrate spicyip.com to wordpress.com but need to do some design changes before i fully switch over. i have activated jetpack on spicyip.com but the wordpress website is not allowing me to import. and xml import is failing for some files so not able to pull all things in one place.
Can you suggest what could be wrong.

Hi and welcome! Importing, updating, then going live with the new site is a great way to go. Usually it goes a bit more smoothly than this, but I’m sure we can work through it.
I’m seeing a 520 error with the xmlrpc. That indicates some kind of unknown error with the server. I’m guessing it’s trying to block the connection and bumping into trouble. You might check your plugins to see if any of those could be blocking things (security plugins in particular), or it may even be something with cloudflare if you want to check that. You could also ask your host for help troubleshooting the Jetpack connection.
Or, since you already have your Business Plan in place, you might also contact our direct support to see if another import option would be advisable in this case.
