Not getting email as my own Follower or via Sharing?

First, my settings keep changing on their own in my Reader for Following my own blog – http://ebenezerposts.com/. But, even when I reset them so I should get email notification of a new post and I then Publish immediately, I still get no email notification. Also, using the email Sharing button, I do not receive emails sent to the address associated with the blog – (email visible only to moderators and staff).
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you let me know exactly which settings keep getting changed? I’d be more than happy to look into it.
I checked your Delivery Settings and it looks like everything is set up correctly. In addition, I found that you were following your own blog: http://ebenezerposts.com and you set it to send you instant post updates. So, you should be receiving emails every time you publish a post.
As a test, I have followed your blog. The next time you publish a post, I should receive an email. Please let me know when you publish next so that I can see if I receive an email. :)

Consistently, in between times when I Publish, my settings change (not by me) from Instantly to Off. So, I’ve learned to reset them before I Publish. However, the last time I did this, I still didn’t get email notification.
Also, I get no notification when using the Email Sharing button. I would try to Email Sharing with you but I don’t have your email address.

I’m sorry that this happened. That’s very strange! I’ve never heard of the settings changing. Can you please provide me a screenshot of that and upload the images to your Media > Library? That would be very helpful!
Currently, I viewed your Delivery Settings and found that it is still set to instant post notifications for the blog: ebenezerposts.com
As for the Email Sharing button, I shared the first post “All Are Precious In His Sight” by email and I did receive it instantly as seen here:
I will wait until you publish a new post and see if I receive it as I am following your blog.

Hi Grace. I just posted my latest article. Before Publishing, I checked my Reader settings and they werte still set for Instantly, as a Follower of my own blog. Thankfully, I did receive email notification when I Published. I assume you did too.
However, in using the Email Sharing button on the post, I did not receive the email I sent to my own address.

Hi Gary,
Are you trying to share the post to the email of the account you are logged into? If you are, the email will not share because you are basically sharing to the email address associated with your WordPress.com account and it wouldn’t necessarily be “sharing”. Try sharing the post to a different email. You should receive it then.

Well, it happened again. I’m ready to Publish a new Post so I checked my Reader. All of my Follows have been reset to “You get no post and instant comment emails for this blog”. I’ve changed the one for my own blog back to “You get instant post and instant comment emails for this” so I can go ahead and Publish.

That’s very strange! I have never heard of those settings automatically turning off. For now, I have set all the blog you follows to Instant Post emails. I will check to see when they get turned off. For now, you should be able to publish on your blog and receive instant post emails from the blog you are following.
Before when I was following your blog, it did not turn off automatically. I have re-followed your blog, and I will check to see if mine get turned off as well.
I will keep an eye out to make sure they stick!

I completely understand. No worries – this can happen. I’ll be keeping an eye on the Blogs I Follow page. Currently, it is still how I set it. Next time it changes, please let me know right away. I’ll have our team look into it!

It has happened again. I was just getting ready to Publish and I checked my Reader. All my Follows have been reset to “You get no post ..” I’m changing the one for my blog back, so I can go ahead and Publish.

And, though I changed my blog Follow back to receive notifications Instantly, I didn’t get an email notification when I Published.

Hi Gary,
I looked into your account, and found that all but two blogs delivery settings have been turned off. I have reported this to our team and we are looking into the issue. It seems to only be affecting your account, because I am following your blog and I actually received the email of your published post. Have you clicked the Follow and Unfollow button at the top of the blogs you follow?:
If you unfollow and then follow it may be reverting your settings back to Off.
I will let you know what my team says once I hear back!

No, I haven’t clicked the Follow/Unfollow. I did add 2or 3 new Follows over the weekend. However, I checked my Reader late yesterday afternoon and all my Follows were still set. BTW, I did eventually get my email notification.

Once again, I’m ready to publish and I find that all my Follows have been reset to ‘You get no post and no comment emails for this blog”. This is the first time I’ve visited my Reader since my last comment in this string. I’m going to change the Follow for my own blog to “Instantly”. Please see what you can do to fix this. Thanks!
