Not getting email from blog I follow

  I am following 1 blog and I don’t get the emails. The settings for that blog is set for receiving instantly. Nothing is in the spam folder of my gmail account. Attempted to follow instructions to uncheck the box for blocking on email delivery settings– could not find any box like that. The email account is gmail. What do I do now?
