Not Getting Email Notices of Comments

I am set as co-administrator on this blog, but I don’t get email notices of comments. This makes it impossible for me to monitor them.

    How do I get notices?

Check under options > discussion and make sure things are set properly in the “email me whenever” section.

Check under options > general and make sure the email address is correct for “admin purposes.”

Check your email spam filter and make sure it isn’t getting caught in your spam filter. You might have to “whitelist” wordpress.com.

    Hello,

does this mean that only one email adress receives something when a comment is left on the blog ? I was led to believe this setting was per user … I had the same problem , not receiving the notices on the proper email, I understand where the trouble was coming from but think it is strange that only one email adress can receive notices..

    cheers

If you want to monitor comments you could just subscribe to the comments feed. It has the great advantage that it doesn’t clutter your mailbox and anybody can do it.

    Definitely check your spam/trash.

I started having this issue this week as well. After finding this thread, I looked around and found all of the comments being delivered directly to my trash folder.

I use a http://www.mail.com address for my e-mails from WordPress, so if you use one of their domains, you might find the notifications in your trash.
