Not getting email notifications

  Hi,

  I am not getting emails when I create a new post and I am guessing if I am not getting emails than no one else is. I have been receiving emails when new posts are published until today, however, some of the emails have been delayed.

  Hi Pamela,

  Can you double-check your spam folder and all the “tabs” on Gmail (social, etc)? The system shows that the notification was sent out for that post to you.

  If it isn’t in either place, I’ll ask our systems crew to pull the raw logs to see if we can determine what may have happened to your notification.

  Thank you for responding. I did check all spam and email folders. I believe only wordpress followers were alerted to a new post. None of my email followers were.

  Thanks Pamela. I’ve asked to pull our raw e-mail logs to verify that the e-mail was sent from our system without a responding error to determine if there’s a reason internal here at WordPress.com or some other cause for this.

  Hi Pamela,

  It appears that when your post was published, you weren’t subscribed to receive notifications from your blog but were re-subscribed within the hour after it was published.

  You should get the next notification without issue.

  Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else.
