Not getting email notifications for a blog I subscribed to follow.

Hi there. I’ve signed up to follow polytheist.com and have not received any email notifications of new postings, despite having received the email to activate subscription (which I activated), and then the email confirming that the subscription had been activated.
I’ve signed into WordPress Reader and checked my settings (I get email notifications for all the other blogs I follow) to see if I can work out where the problem is, but I can’t. My settings for polytheist.com, like the other blogs I follow says: You get daily post emails and no comment emails for this blog. It is set to deliver new posts by emails daily.
My main delivery settings are all fine and I receive daily email notifications for all other blogs I follow when there is new content. There were two postings on polytheist.com on 23rd September, one at 5.37pm and one at 6.28pm, so I would have expected to receive email notifications this morning, as I have my settings set to send notifications between 6.00am and 8.00am. If you are a wordpress member, you won’t get email notifications of new posts. You will see these under your “Reader”. Go to the W logo at the top right hand corner and choose “Reader”. This is usually the screen that opens when you login.

Hi there, sorry – maybe I wasn’t clear. I signed up to receive email notifications of new postings made on a blog I wish to follow, polytheist.com. I did this via their website, just as I have with other blogs I follow. I have a WordPress reader account, and polytheist.com is just one of quite a few blogs I’ve signed up to follow. I receive email notifications direct to my email inbox whenever any of the other blogs I follow have new postings. For some reason, despite my delivery settings for polytheist.com being the same as the other blogs I follow, I do not receive email notifications for it when there are new postings. But, as I say, I get daily email notifications for all the other blogs I follow (when there’s new content). I don’t see why this one blog should be any different.

Got’cha! Perhaps it is something on their end? Maybe you already have, but you could email them to let them know of the issue? That would be all I would have to say about it… Sorry!!

Hi there, yes, I emailed the blog last week, but haven’t heard back, so I it might be worth seeing if there was something to be done at the WordPress end. Thanks for trying though!

Hi, does anyone else have any ideas to help me? I’ve contacted the blog directly, but haven’t heard back. As I say, no problems getting email notifications of other blogs I follow.
