Not getting email notifications when someone uses the ‘Contact Us’ form on my site!

I can’t figure out what’s preventing me from getting email notifications when someone sends me a message using the ‘Contact Us’ form on my free WordPress site. Most of the time I can’t even find the place to access ‘Notification Settings’. When I do finally find it nothing works for me. There is no place that says ‘Activate email notifications for Contact Us messages! That’s all I want to do! Why is it so hard? This is very frustrating to say the least.

Hi! I see the form is set up to go to another address, so can you be sure you’re checking the right one? Or, you can edit the form to change the address there:

One recent-ish comment went to Spam. If that was not spam, please hover over the comment and click Not Spam so our detection systems will work better next time.

Thank you supernovia for your kind reply. You helped me solve the problem! At your suggestion, I checked all of my other email addresses and still found no “Contact Us” messages. But you got me thinking, “maybe those messages are going to the SPAM folder of that other email address.”
Sure enough, there were all there. Now I have marked them as “not spam” and added that WordPress email address to my contacts so nothing from Worpress.com will ever go to SPAM again. Thank you! This is a huge relief.
Sincerely, Tom C. -
