Not getting EMail to delete blog

I have tried several times to delete the http:/ithinkur.wordpress.com blog I created but have not gotten the required e-mail from wordpress. I went to the support page and followed the listed steps. While it tells me the email has been sent I have yet to get it.
I am not sure if it is because this blog is attached to my MAIN blog. Can someone help please??

Mac…I followed the link you provided and filled out the form but this blog is still not deleted? Did I miss something? How long does it usually take??

My thoughts are that there are so many wordpress.com bloggers that there is always a long queue of support tickets like the one you submitted for Staff to work through. That probably explains why Staff did not immediately attend to this.

tfockler60, that’s the general support contact form. It’s a way to contact us directly and ask us to delete it for you.
We should be replying shortly.

I have kept an eye on the email as well and I still have not received anything. -
I did some digging and it looks like I actually replied to you on April 30th asking for you to specify which blog you wanted to have deleted.
If you have my response, please reply to that. If not, please send a new support request through http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ and specify which blog you want deleted.
Also, to avoid the need for further replies, please declare in the support request that you understand that deleting a blog is permanent and neither the blog nor its name can ever be used again.

@Mac,sorry but you did not ask me which one I wanted deleted on April 30th, all you did was provide the link for the contact support, which I filled out for the second time and INCLUDED the link for the blog to be deleted.

Now so that there is no further confusion the blog I want deleted is http://ithinkur.wordpress.com
Additionally I think there may be a problem with the email delivery system since I have not to date received one, despite having filled out the support form and followed the “delete” this blog step several times now.
YES I understand that deleting a blog is permanent and neither the blog nor its name can ever be used again.

Yes, you did contact us via the form on April 30th, and that’s when I responded just a few hours later (to your email) asking you to specify the blog.
You might want to check your spam folder, I suppose your missing deletion confirmation email could be in there too.
Deletion requests, if they cannot be done the proper way, need to be received through http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ for security purposes. If you have not yet done so, please send one again with all requested details, so that a reply is not necessary.
Also, please check your spam folder or add @wordpress.com to your email client’s whitelist to avoid future lost emails.

I did receive your second request, complete with all details, and have deleted your blog as requested.

Thank you Mac. No I didn’t get the emails and I checked the spam folder too. I have no idea why they aren’t going through. In any case I do thank you for helping me with this situation. Just one more reason to like WordPress.
