not getting email to reset passsword

  hi, whats procedure i should follow here. forgot password for my wordpress login. the hosting is working, i sent in my email to recover password but am not receiving email. how can i troubleshoot this? if nothing else, I will assume the problem is associated with gmail which i am using.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Let’s start with the fact that WordPress.com sites and WordPress.org sites have different logins.

  What is the exact URL of the site?

  Covenantsolar.com a site I own with the WordPress installed. the password I forgot is for the /wp-login, not a wordpress.org blog

  covenantsolar.com is a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, hosted by GoDaddy.com, not by wordpress.com.

  That site is not hosted by wordpress.COM and as it is not on our servers we cannot help you with it.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   This is wordpress.COM support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
  (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
