Not getting notified of likes and comments

    I get notifications when some people like and comment on my post, but not all of them. I noticed on my notifications page it shows some followers with a blue star (I get notifications from them) and a grey star by the person I don’t get notifications from. How do I fix this? Again, I’m talking about notifications when these people comment on MY blog. I don’t get notified when the person with a grey star comments on my post.

    Ok so it looks like the blue or grey stars are whatever notifications I have opened or not opened. So that part is irrelevant to my question.

    My question still remains… why am I being notified of some people commenting or liking, and not others?

    I don’t want email notifications. I get push notifications on the app. But only when certain followers interact with my blog. I don’t know why it’s not notifying me when anyone and everyone interacts.

    Ok, would you be able to share examples of interactions which weren’t pushed as a notification so we can better help check up? Things like – if one person replies to another, do you find that you don’t get a notification? Or do you find that there’s a difference in notifications between WordPress.com followers, and email subscribers?
