Not getting update e-mails
-
I created a blog using WordPress with the latest version (which is GREAT and AMAZING)…
Under settings I have it checked so that when users post an comment and/or new users join I receive an e-mail, but I am not receiving any e-mails.
Anyone experience this? Know how to fix it?
I am using Google Aps so my e-mail is through Gmail, i.e. its not through my hosting server… but that shouldn’t matter right?
Thank you very much!

check your spam filter at G-mail.
also check any spam filter on your server.
sometimes the “noreply” e-mails from wordpress.com -
I’ll tag this for the moderators so they can brank mailto: link.
It s best to put a e-mail names as name [at] domain[ dot] com.Else you might get alot of spam from bots

@bakertamory, since you are self-hosted and using the software downloaded from wordpress.ORG, you need to direct your question to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ . This forum is for users of WordPress.COM, the free hosting service, and it uses a modified multi-user version of the software which is different from what you are using and few, if any, here know anything about it.
