not getting updates from following website

a few days ago I stopped getting updates from dalneitzel.com. i went to manage following and saw my options to have updates emailed was turned off. i turned them back on and did get email indicating I’m following again. However I still am not getting updates from this site. I went to this site and opted to receive updates. However this site says WordPress has updates turned off. Help!

dalneitzel.com is not hosted here on WordPress.com. Because of this, I have no access to troubleshoot their site or subscriptions.
The last post made on that site was 10/5/16. When was the last update you received?

I checked my email this morning and getting updates again. Others were having the same problem and its working now. Thank you!
