Not Getting WordPress Emails for Likes, Comments and New Posts of Blogs I Follow

Hi,
For the past 2-3 days, I haven’t been getting emails from WordPress for Likes and Comments on my blog, and for New Posts of the blogs I follow. I rechecked my notification settings, and they are marked tick for all of the above as before. The URL of my WordPress blog is dominicalapat.wordpress.com

Hi there,
I checked our email logs and you’re right – most of your emails have not been going through. This is the message we are receiving whenever that happens:
Your email could not be delivered to the intended recipient as your IP address is blacklisted. For details, visit: https://lookup.abusix.com/search?q=%5Bredacted%5D (in reply to RCPT TO command)
I would reach out to your email provider and check to see if there is any issue on that end.

Hi,
As advised by you, I contacted my email service provider Rediffmail regarding this problem, and they asked me to get in touch with abusix.com.
I signed into the Abusix website and checked my email id and IP address, but on both occasions I got messages saying that my email id and my IP address were not listed on their site.
Then I reread the Abusix message you have sent me here, and I realised that the wording of the message implies that it is your IP address (WordPress) that is blacklisted.
Therefore, I humbly request you to check if your IP address is blacklisted by signing into Abusix and delist it.
I am now in this situation where only you can help me.

Then I reread the Abusix message you have sent me here, and I realised that the wording of the message implies that it is your IP address (WordPress) that is blacklisted.
Are you able to share which IP address they’re referring to?
Abusix is a closed system so we can’t check what they have or haven’t blacklisted.
We have seen this issue before with similar systems and in our experience these blacklists are temporary (Abusix would need to confirm this.)

I have no idea which IP address Abusix is referring to, but it could be the one WordPress uses for sending emails to a user for Likes, Comments, and New Posts of blogs the user follows.
Would it be possible for you to check on Abusix whether they are referring to this particular WordPress IP address which sends me (user) emails?
And if they have blacklisted your WordPress IP address, could you get Abusix to confirm that it is temporary and that it will be delisted?
Honestly, I don’t know what to do?
What do you suggest?

Hello Dominic,
WordPress uses for sending emails to a user for Likes, Comments, and New Posts of blogs the user follows.
We utilise a number of IP addresses as part of our infrastructure which are subject to change.
As Abusix are the ones doing the blacklisting, the onus is on them to provide the information you require. The email is also coming via rediffmail.com whereby they’re blocking something from rediffmail.com potentially.
As a workaround, you could look to use a different email address to the WordPress.com https://wordpress.com/me/account/

I contacted Abusix again.
They told me that an IP address has been redacted from this message:
Your email could not be delivered to the intended recipient as your IP address is blacklisted. For details, visit: https://lookup.abusix.com/search?q=%5Bredacted%5D (in reply to RCPT TO command)
They told me that there has to be an IP address at the end of the above URL, and without that they won’t be able to help me.
Would it be possible for you to help me out with this?

The problem here is that there isn’t a single IP to check – we have many IP addresses that dynamically change over time, so there isn’t one IP we can provide.
I’ve reached out to our internal systems team to see if there’s anything we can affect on our end. Otherwise, you may need to be patient until they stop blocking us as some emails are getting through and we haven’t seen any other reports of this problem.
We’ll respond once we have more information.
