Why are my images now embedded in my posts? They never use to be. I don’t like it! The pictures can’t be clicked like once before.

@Timethief thank you, but no that doesn’t help. This is an old article. There’s been a change in the WordPress uploading layout and the way it functions. In the that article it mentions drop down options and they aren’t there anymore. When inserting an image into the post it literally just puts the image there with no editing options. I hate it!!!! In my post recent post, when clicking on the picture theres no effect. This happened over night!!! I posted the day before and everything was fine. I really not happy with this new layout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While editing, click on an image, then click the link icon. You can add links to your images that way if you’d like.
I’ll pass along the request for more editing features, too.

Please change it back to how it was- nothing works properly now. I am very unhappy and thinking of leaving wordpress.

Reversion is not possible. Staff like supernovia are assisting bloggers who have issues arising from recent changes to the editor https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2015/11/16/new-high-speed-editor/Will you please state exactly what you mean by “nothing works properly now” by itemizing what you find has changed.
