Not in 'freshly published' gallery. Why?

a little discouraged, very confused. I can’t even find my last post in the ‘freshly published’ even though i published it. I don’t want to buy more tools or packages if i can’t start small on this site and then grow.

    Hello,

As you are here only for a week, you have a long, long way to go! It is a bit early to be displayed in Freshly Pressed :) It even takes 3 or 4 weeks to be displayed fully in Google search results. Also, it is hard for a big, old blog to be displayed on Fresly Pressed.

As I see, you only have one post and you must focus on increasing the number of posts, and you should make people visit your site. Use this page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/get-social/

    Unlusoycan,
Thanks for responding, i was not aware of that. I had gotten the mistaken impression that it was a gallery of every member’s latest post. I will take your advice and visit the link.
I would guess that you are the person in Turkey who visited my blog…

    Thank you,

“Freshly Pressed” is a selection of WordPress.com member posts which are hand-picked and showcased each day. You can read more about it here http://en.support.wordpress.com/freshly-pressed/

I believe what you are talking about are the Topics Pages, which do include posts from all members. If you are posting in a popular category like “Photography” there are huge numbers of posts being published every minute, so the possibility of being seen this way is limited. You can read more about using tags and categories here
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/ and more about getting more traffic to your site here http://en.support.wordpress.com/category/traffic/

Since you are very new to WordPress.com, may I also suggest http://learn.wordpress.com/ to get started. Best wishes!
